Silk pongee in a natural ivory color makes up this little vintage window into fashion history- a simple shift dress, A-Line falling from the shoulders. It has a crosshatched round yoke and shoulders, and the triangular hip appliques mirror that. It is basically a pullover and the arm holes are very small. It is as found in a Pennsylvania Attic, not cleaned but in good shape  with a couple of very small light stains. Perfectly wearable, and the silk is strong. Would probably be best for a display piece.
